Registered when she was just 23, the name was to serve as a reminder to Sherlyn Tan to never give up on her dream of building a fashion brand that would empower dreamers everywhere.
Twenty3 is for the woman on-the-go, moving ever onward with strength and determination in the chase of her dreams. From work, to a lunch meeting to an evening workout and to dinner with the girls, Twenty3 gives a seamless transition from day to night.
In support of local creatives, from fashion to graphic designers, Twenty3 envisions to spread the potential of Malaysian talents beyond borders.
Designed in our humble studio in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, our collections have been featured on the runways of KL Fashion Week 2015 and 2016, as well as in international media. Today, Twenty3 is one of the top 10 online fashion stores in the country shipping to over 20 countries, with 5 retail stores realised within this year.
From a one-woman show to a team of 40 Unicorns, we are a collective of dreamers. In all that we do, from ideation to design, to production, operations, marketing and retail, we are guided by our embrace of the beauty in perseverance.
Twenty3 is for women, of all shapes and sizes, and with dreams as vast as the skies.

"The idea for Sher by Twenty3 was fomented during one of the bleakest periods in my life. I wanted to shield myself in armor from the world, to cocoon myself away from reality. Dressing up in bright colors and florals felt like artificial masks. I began creating the persona of Sher in my mind. She was what I wasn’t, and everything I wanted to be. She was a fighter, but there was a beauty in her perseverance. She had strength, but never let it cloud her femininity. She was fit, not simply because of superficial purposes, but because she understood the value of self-improvement and self-empowerment through fitness. She knew what she wanted, and nothing could stop her. She owned her life, her goals, her dreams, her self." - Sherlyn, Founder & CEO of Twenty3.
